In the historic town of Birr, Co. Offaly, the Rudd’s brand was born. This wonderful enterprise first started its journey in 1973, but it wasn’t until 1985 that the delicious porky products were made commercially available.

With the relaunch in 2005 under the ownership of O’Brien Fine Foods, Bill O’Brien breathed a new lease of life in to the brand.  Now with his son John at the reigns, the brand has gone through its second relaunch, with delicious new products and stylish new packaging.

The Birr team, led by Master Butcher Declan Fitzgerald, has created a range of products that are unmatched in the market. Dry cured rashers, peppery-soft puddings and scrumptious sausages all made to traditional farmhouse recipes, only ever using Bord Bia approved pork, from then, still until this day.
